Hutch brings Pittsburgh's best chefs to your door in beautiful, returnable steel vessels — restaurant-quality food, takeout speed, zero waste.
Live now on Kickstarter!
Pittsburgh has world-class chefs. Most of us can't get a table, or spend $80 on a Tuesday. Meanwhile takeout buries the city in plastic and styrofoam, and delivery apps take a third of what a kitchen earns. Hutch fixes all three. Chef-curated meals, $15–$25, plated in heirloom steel vessels you return instead of throw away.
Our vessel is 304 stainless steel with a custom Flow Blue finish — nice enough that you want to return it, not toss it. A QR code on the base lets us track and route every one through the loop.
Rotating Pittsburgh chef partners plate the day's specials in Hutchwares.
Oven, 350°F, 8–10 minutes. Tastes like the restaurant.
Drop it at a partner location on your next visit. We sanitize it.
The chef refills it, it re-enters circulation. Zero waste.

The host, the vessel, and the story — the world we're inviting Pittsburgh to build with us.

A glimpse of the horizon: the future Hutch Automat. A vision we're building toward — not open yet.
Hutch Automat is the long game. You don't open a chef automat on day one — you earn it by proving the hard part first. That's what this Kickstarter funds.
Fund the first run of Hutchwares vessels and our first Hub Drop. Prove the closed loop.
More Hub Drops, more chef partners. GoHutch spreads neighborhood by neighborhood.
Once the loop is dense enough, we open the physical Hutch Automat. Made possible because GoHutch proved it first.
We're a pre-revenue startup, and we won't hide behind fluff. Here's the model, plainly.
Hutch holds a Scale Residency at Innovation Works' Robotics Factory in Pittsburgh — engineering support and a credentialed pathway toward reshored steel manufacturing. The robotics and the automat are the roadmap, not the claim — we begin today with the vessels and the loop.
Every tier directly funds a specific step in the launch — vessels, chef outreach, Hub Drops, and the loop that makes this real.
This is not an investment. No equity, no partnership, no financial return. These are support contributions that fund a project you believe in.
Back the founding round and you're in the story from day one — your name on the Founding Wall, and the first real step toward Pittsburgh's chef automat.
